Nicole Lee July 11th, 2008

I’ve just been really, really, really, really, really, extremely busy lately.

New and amazing developments include:

+ My 22nd birthday.
+ <3 of my new job
+ I've been v-logging up a storm for L.A.t.U
+ A shitty hair cut
+ A return to red hair

And there was something else…what was it…oh come on now…hmmmmmm, OH YEAH!

I GOT MY FUCKING CAMERA TODAY!
THE DIGITAL REBEL XT-FUCKING-I!
I AM SO EXCITED IT’S RIDICULOUS!

That said, enjoy these and I promise I’m back for good.

Our Background

The last day of school

Nicole Lee April 29th, 2008

Two really important things happened today.

1. I am fixing my hair. The first application of stripped has worked wonders and now I have to decide how light I want to go. I’m really excited for how well everything worked, and a lot of stress was lifted when I saw how well it’s going. I will post some photos so you can see the progress. =)

2. I found a brand new Yamaha violin with bow and hard case for $365. Good lord, I think I am going to buy it. I can put it on layaway and have sixty days to pay it off. I think I might talk to my mom and dad and see if they’ll throw some money in for it as well. =)

Flying on the up swing

I have so much to cover in this entry, so I apologize in advance for how long it will be.

First things first. An update on the relationship status. It was hectic for a while there, and Jarren and I came closer to breaking up than either of us thought was possible. We have this problem where we are so stubborn that we never resolve anything. We just gloss over it and hope that if we ignore it long enough it will go away. Which works. For a while. Until we blow up in each other’s faces and end up like this. It’s not a good way to handle things, and hopefully from now on we’ll make sure to talk things out and resolve our issues as they come.

Alright, with that out of the way I have some awesome news. I got an apology from someone the other day, and though it doesn’t make the past go away it definitely helped clear a lot of the tainted air. I’m not sure that I’m ready to talk to her, but I do want her to know that I’ve forgiven her, and I appreciate her being strong enough to offer her apology. It really, really meant a lot to me.

I have more awesome news. Jarren and I went into Best Buy today because he won a gift card from work. Of course, once we were there we had to go into the computer section. He’s kind of in the market for one, but he doesn’t have that kind of cash. So, he figured he could apply for a card and see if he could pay monthly, and Customer Service told us about this Reward Zone MasterCard they have that gets you 2% back in Best Buy gift certificates on any purchase outside Best Buy and 4% on any in store purchase. So he started filling out his application and they let us know that they would inform us of their approve/deny decision right there, in a matter of minutes. Being my bored, antsy self I decided to go ahead and apply too. Why not, right? Well, they denied Jarren, which we expected. He’s young, male and has NO credit. But they apprvoved me! $500 limit! I’m so excited! Not because I want a new card, but because it means that paying off my 5/3 card, catching up my Chase card and getting all of that taken care of really did me a favor. It feels good to know that I’m getting back on my feet, and that there’s nothing that can tie me down for too long. I still have to finish paying Ben off, but I’m getting there too. $50 a pay check goes right into his account, and it shouldn’t take me long to finish that up too.

Something happened in the last few days that settled a lot of my loose ends, and it feels amazing. I really couldn’t ask for more. Well, I’m hoping that this Rilakkuma bag actually makes it to me this time, but if that’s my only worry, then I’m ridin’ on clouds.

=)

Buying frenzy

Nicole Lee March 15th, 2008

I hope this makes me feel better.
Shipping and all it was less than ten bucks.
(I buy things when I’m sad. :\ )The last bag we bought ended up held in customs or something stupid. Either way Jarren got his refund.

[Edit] I had to remove this section for fear of a certain person finding it, and I just don’t need that stress. So see my livejournal for the whole entry.

Anyway. I probably won’t be around for a few days at least, so I’ll see you when I get back.
